The Song Guitar Pedals Amp Recording Mixing Settings Pics The Tale

The song is “Just Another Romance Song”, an original I wrote back in college. By the skin of one's teeth a simple ballad melody that has a be like style to “Life Without You”, by Stevie Ray Vaughan. A lot of solitary elements in this demo were learned from that bother.

I piece together the backing track in GarageBand on my Mac.

The guitar used in this demo is my chintzy ‘96 Mexican Strat that recently got upgraded to pickups from Rocketfire Guitars.

Tuning: E-Rapidly Guitar: Mexican Strat Pickups: Support Rocketfire Total 60’s HANDWOUND Origin Strat Strings: D’addario EXL145 (12–54) Pedals Boss PQ-4 Boss PQ-3B Nobels ODR-S This Parametric EQ Pedal is no longer in end result. Although it can produce a wide variety of tones, I use it basically as a vacuum boost, with a little extra shove in the low/midrange area. This pedal is first in the lineup, and I use it in two ways: First to furnish a little boost to the amp by itself, and second to prompt the Nobels Overdrive farther into distortion when it is absorbed.
