Blues Junior Amp Demo - SRV Ballad Style
Here’s another video showing off the capabilities of the Fender Blues Secondary. This time I attempt to replicate the thick, overdriven modulation that Stevie used when playing songs like Biography Without You. Make sure to check out the details below the video…
*NOTE* - I’ve added a pictures tab at the bottom where you can see pictures of all my accouterments settings, including the amp.
The video is presented in HD, for the full intention, make sure to watch it full select. I’ve experienced some issues with incidentally stutters in the video, but if you let it buffer large enough it should play smoothly.

Guitar
The guitar used in this demo is my for a song ‘96 Mexican Strat that recently got upgraded to pickups from Rocketfire Guitars.
Tuning: E-Unchanging
Guitar: Mexican Strat
Pickups:
Habit Rocketfire Total 60’s HANDWOUND Generation Strat
Strings: D’addario EXL145 (12–54)
Pedals
Boss PQ-4
Boss PQ-3B

This pedal is first in the lineup, and I use it in two ways: First to require a little boost to the amp by itself, and second to press on the Nobels Overdrive farther into distortion when it is betrothed....
